EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Position: Head Cook
Department: Nutrition Services
Work Hours: 6:30 A.M. – 2:30 P.M.
Supervisor: Nutrition Services Manager

Specific Duties:

-Prepare the main entrée or entrees.
-According to recipe and menu set up pans and ingredient items the day of production or if time permits the day before.
-Lifting is required of dry food products and frozen food products of various weights.
-Check with the nutrition services manager as to meats and/or products taken out of the freezer either in advance or on the day of menu production, to be sure everything is ready.
-Check oven temps and/or turn on ovens, grills, combi, kettle needed to produce products.

Department: Nutrition Services
Work Hours: 9 A.M. – 3 P.M.
Supervisor: Nutrition Services Manager

Specific Duties:
-Assist head cook prepare food items based on the daily menu.
-Lifting is required of dry food products and frozen food products of various weights.
-Follow daily productions sheet.
-Records daily food productions and temperature.
-Help serving line as needed.
